In Memory of Elizabeth Kemp
In Loving Memory of Elizabeth (Wild) Kemp
We lost Elizabeth on June 29th to an aggressive inoperable brain tumor, it was sudden and it was devastating.
Elizabeth was the most loving, smart, generous, and fun mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, competitor, teacher, and vice principal we knew. She was the perfect combination of family and friend, leader and supporter.
Elizabeth's family is strong and resilient, but also human. While we all struggle to come to terms with this tragedy, we all know Elizabeth cared so deeply about her family and education. The funds raised will enable her young children to have access to the one thing Elizabeth held so closely to her heart; education. The funds will also allow her young family the flexibility to take the time they need to move forward.
We know our world will never be the same without Elizabeth in it, but it most definitely will not be the same for her young children, her husband, her father, her brothers, extended family and friends, the speed skating community and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. Her 39 years with us somehow does not seem long enough. We will all miss her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh.
