In Loving Memory of Kyle Graham

Hello, my name is Will Montes. I work for New Jersey Transit in the Maintenance Department at Howell Garage. On August 19th a Coworker and also one of my close friends Kyle, suffered his first ever seizure. he was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where they did an MRI and found 3 brain tumors. Since then he had to endure an awake craniotomy where they were able to completely remove 2 of the tumors. The third tumor was 90% removed, due to its location in the brain, it was unsafe to remove the rest of the tumor. Kyle also had to endure 2 abdominal surgeries for a clinical trial he was lucky enough to be eligible for. After healing well, he began to experience terrible headaches, it was then that the doctors found that he had a brain infection, and needed an additional brain surgery to remove the fluid. Kyle is currently undergoing chemo and radiation. It has been a long and tiresome road for Kyle.

For those that don’t know him, Kyle is a lively, active, fun loving, and dedicated husband and father to 2 children, (Bradley 10, Alana 7) and is known to do anything to make others smile. Unfortunately since he was diagnosed, he has suffered from countless seizures, which is keeping him out of work. His wife Amber is also out of work to care for him, especially in the event of seizures, bringing him to radiation daily, and all doctors appointments. During this difficult time, we ask for help to ease the stress of financial burden of medical bills, living expenses, and being able to treat the kids to give them as normal a life as possible, especially after all the hard times that they’ve endured since this diagnosis.
