In Loving Memory of Kevin Pokorski

Last week we received the devastating news that my brother Kevin had passed away unexpectedly while in NY, where he usually would spend his summers caddying at some of the most exclusive golf clubs in the Northeast. We don’t have very many answers as to why this happened to my brother, who was only 41, which makes this that much harder to understand.

Kevin was an avid golfer who loved to play, teach and caddy. He was looking forward to returning in the next few weeks to the Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach. He has also worked as a caddy at the Jupiter Island Club, and Turtle Creek, just to name a few.

He was loved by so many, and had so many amazing friends all around the country. He was an amazing uncle to my 3 daughters and he will be missed by all who knew him.

My reason for this go fund me account is to help cover some of the many expenses related to this unexpected tragedy.

My parents had to drop everything to fly to Hampton Cays to take care of everything for Kevin. This was the last thing they could have ever expected to have to do, and I know it’s been a hardship for them. I am handling whatever needs to be done in Florida with his condo and will be planning a celebration of life in the next few weeks. Any funds raised beyond these expenses will be used to set up a foundation in my brother’s honor that will be used as a scholarship fund to continue his memory by sharing his love of golf for future generations.
