Leslie was a bright, young girl who was always positive and smiling. For those of you who knew her, we were truly fortunate to have had her in our lives. It comes with a heavy heart to share with you that she is now in a better place and watching over all of us.
Going out on a hike near Washington, Leslie slipped and fell. Unfortunately she passed from her injuries and at the age of 23, she had so much of her life ahead of her. We have lost a dear friend and can't begin to imagine how much grief her family is going through.
To show that we are all here for the Mar family during this difficult time, we have started this page.
The Mar Family has decided that any donations from this page will be used to set up the Leslie Noelle LienJun Mar Scholarship Fund at San Marino High School. Thank you in advance.

Leslie Noelle Mar grew up on the Valentine side of Huntington with two older sisters, Adrienne and Kelly, an older brother, Stuart, and younger, Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Mar always had their house full and always kept their kids busy.
With Cheerleading, Volleyball, and Band, Leslie always had something to do at San Marino High School. She was even our senior year's Spirit Commissioner on ASB and actively participated in the yearly musical and dance shows. Even as an National Charity League debutante, Leslie was truly a well rounded gifted person.
After high school, she decided to move away and try it on her own at Washington State University. Continuing to be an active member of the student body, she became a member of Kappa Delta and formed another family up there with her sisters and friends. Leslie even checked off some cities on her bucket list when she got to see the world and travel abroad to Italy.
She then became a proud graduate of Class of 2017 and joined the work force at Fisher Investments in Vancouver, Washington. Leslie recently shared with me that living so close to Portland definitely made her appreciate the great outdoors and how the beauty of nature excited her.
The world has lost a bright light and we have lost a dear friend. Leslie, you will always be remembered and we will always miss our friend.
