In Support of Rodney Britt

Dear Friends,

 

As many of you have heard by now, Rodney was recently rushed by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital in New Albany, IN, where he underwent extensive cardiac surgery, including a repair of a congenital defect of his aorta that had never been diagnosed.

 

The surgery was long and difficult but ultimately successful, and although he will be recuperating for some time, they are expecting him to make a complete recovery. The Britt family is so grateful for your prayers from across the world that were an instrumental part of this result.

 

Rodney has devoted his life in service to the Lord through his ministry in Christian music, his mission work in West Africa, and his congregational leadership in the Church of Christ. His life of service in spreading faith, hope, and love has impacted thousands of people in so many positive ways.

 

The surgery and treatment Rodney has received has saved his life, but it is very expensive. Even with their health insurance, Rodney and Paula are facing some daunting medical bills in the coming weeks. Now in their time of need, we humbly ask for your support and generosity to help alleviate some of the financial strain on the Britt family. Your donations will contribute directly to paying physician and hospital bills, post-operative care, physical therapy, and other associated expenses so that Rodney and Paula can devote their full energies to his recovery.
