Jeremiah James “JJ” Duran

Dear Friends & Family,
You may know Jeremiah James “JJ” Duran from Frontier or Liberty High School or from one of his travel Baseball Teams. He played with the Halos, Aces, Diablos, and various other teams as he was growing up. No matter how you knew him, you knew that his smile was contagious and that he was a fun-loving young man. Unfortunately, on July 31st, Jaime and Rosemary Duran learned that they lost their son. JJ was only 20 years old and was born in Ventura, CA and moved to Bakersfield, California with his family when he was 3 years old. He was a star baseball player growing up and his family loved to support him on both local and travel baseball teams throughout his schools years.
This unimaginable loss comes during an already challenging time. Their family was obviously not prepared for the high costs that come with a funeral and want to give him the memorial he deserves to honor his memory. The initial $5,000 in funds raised will go toward funeral costs, medical expenses, and any other related costs. We are hoping that any additional funds can be used to help the family with living expenses, food delivery, and anything else they may need while they cope with their new reality.
The family is asking for your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time.
Please consider showing your love for the Duran family during this unfathomable tragedy, and honor the memory of JJ Duran who left this earth far too early.
If you have any questions or would like to learn of other ways to contribute to the Duran family, please reach out to Ashley or Traci. Thank you all for your support.
