JJ - Jeffrey Wallace Jr
Donation protected
***UPDATE*** PLEASE READ
Posting this for full transparency yes we turned donations off of the Gofundme. We did so because we received the funds we needed for JJ and that was our goal. We did NOT want to take advantage of this AMAZING community who showed up so BIG for the family. However sense it has been shut off we have had over 60 people contact us via the gofundme telling us they still wished to help even though funds had been met. After great discussion with JJ's mom and her thinking on it over night she's decided to turn donations back on with the disclosure any funds raised past this point will be used for a memorial of some sort for all of the boys at the school or some where in town and anything additional will be split between JJ's 3 siblings in a savings account for college. We just wanted you all to know where any additional funds from this point would be going. AGAIN THANK YOU CHESNEE!!
Hello my name is April. I am Pj's older sister Nikki's sister in law!! We are here to help my brother and sister in law and their children get through one of the hardest moments of their lives.
September 29th on Fairfield Rd in Chesnee South Carolina JJ was the passenger in a single car wreck that caught fire. JJ as well as two other lives were lost.
How does a parent survive this loss? How do you prepare for such hurt? You can't and like many other Families in today's economy they have no nest egg for these things. All though they work hard the financial burden this will take on their family is going to just be added stress on top of grieving this loss. NO PARENT should ever have to bury their baby and they certainly shouldn't have to stress how they are going to manage doing an already unthinkable tragedy.
Along with memorial expenses there will also be missed time from work. This is not something they can really afford but also something that's just going to have to happen as they navigate through this tough journey. They will need funds to assist with food and essentials. Every dollar missed is another dollar out of their mouths and JJ has younger siblings that still need to be cared for.
We are asking for help with memorial expenses cremation and what's left will hopefully get them by until things settle and Pj can return to work.
I know times are hard right now for everybody but please PLEASE if you can find it in your heart to donate do so.
Nothing we can say or do will bring JJ back the least we can do is help this family handle his passing and give him a proper memorial.
REST PEACEFULLY JJ YOU WILL FOREVER MISSED!!
