Expenses for the family of Joe Laycock

Joe recently passed away on January 9, 2023.  Joe was only 55 yrs old; he passed away while at work in his home office.  Joe was a wonderful man who touched the lives of everyone he met and those around him every day. He leaves behind his wife Robin, his children Daniel, Jacob, and Lindsay, his Dad (J.W.), his brother Greg, and 3 grandchildren.

Joe dedicated his life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse in hospitals in Texas and other states across the country. Despite having heart & kidney issues and having to do kidney dialysis every night, he always had a genuine love of life and a smile on his face, especially when he spoke about his family. He was always helping others; if he had it and you needed it, he would give it to you. A few months ago, Joe and Robin moved in with her parents to help care for Robin’s Dad who has Stomach Cancer.

We are all devastated by Joe’s death; his family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service along with other costs. We want to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. Joe was buried on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in Agudas Achim Memorial Gardens.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Joe’s funeral, burial expenses, other final expenses, and living expenses for Robin (mortgage, utilities, food, etc), as we are unsure when she will be able to return to work. We are trying to raise at least $14,500 as soon as possible. Joe could not obtain life insurance due to his health conditions. For the past few years, he was in and out of the hospital. As a result, Robin has only been able to work part-time.

Joe was such an encourager! He encouraged Robin to go back to college so she could get her degree in Social Work, which is her passion. He also encouraged their children to follow their dreams!

We are hoping that their love, caring, and generosity for others will return full circle to help Robin in this difficult time.. Any & all donations will truly help Robin & family.

Please keep Robin, their children and grandchildren, his dad, and their families in your prayers. This is going to be a difficult journey.
