Hi - and thank you for being willing to lend your support to our mission to Las Conchas, Guatemala...
Last June, I was able to join Thompson Station Church and a group of missionaries visting an impoverished little Guatemalan mountain village called Las Conchas. The experience changed my life, and I realized that while I worked hard to help, I was the one who had truly benefitted.
The people of Las Conchas are amazing, and for the last eleven months, I've looked forward to returning to try to give back to the people and the place that helped open my eyes to what's truly important - God, and serving others.
We leave on Saturday and will be working on their community center and an orphanage. We've also been asked to finish building a water filtration system to prode these families the most basic of needs - clean water.

Read more about the trip on mccarthyjay.com, I'm posting pictures of the children and their families that your contribution will be help.
Mere words can't properly express my gratitude for your help, but I can tell you that in a town where most families are scraping by on about $4.00 a day, every little bit matters.
Thank you again forfor being so generous and so willing to help-
