Help Jake Get Sinus Surgery
Donation protected
Jake lost his job three years ago and started having many symptoms, so we started our journey with several doctors and spent a ton of money. Finally, we went to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. At first, it was a simple deviated septum, as 80% of the population has but after a cat scan of his face, they found a concerning abscess in his frontal sinus. He was also told he struggles with chronic sinus infections and has many other symptoms, including fatigue, insomnia, brain fog, inability to focus, trouble reading, intestinal spasms, no appetite, and hypoxia. He can no longer go to the gym or work but streams on twitch when he can.
The surgery was scheduled for earlier this year but got canceled out of fear that the abscess blocked a cerebrospinal fluid leak or that it was a tumor. After the neurosurgeon ordered an MRI, the first read looked benign with no leak but he will have to get this thing extracted as it is in front of his brain, and the bacteria is draining from his sinuses sometimes into his stomach.
Below are images of the studies.
