Who we are

My name is Janelle Lykon & my 3 kids; 16, 12 & 4. I am a Medically Retired Disabled Veteran. I served in the Air Force from 9/2004 thru 2/2018.

Why I'm fundraising

In August my world was turned upside down when my husband told me he was leaving me. I thought that would be the only “issue” I faced until I realized the disaster that was created with our joint and business accounts when I was abruptly denied access.

Since becoming a Disabled Veteran in Iraq in 2010, I had set my life up to be financially stable and never have to worry about making ends meet. I started a cleaning business in 2008 so I could be available to my kids, but also have a cash flow. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I have since found a full time job to make ends meet, but still trying to climb out of the “past due” hole.

Throughout the past 4 months, I have been able to sustain my monthly bills.

I’m quite aware times are tough and life is a struggle, but I am asking you to please donate or share.

For starters, my home is in Pre-Foreclosure. Additionally, my car payment is behind as well.

With the adversity we have faced in these short 4 months, I would like to keep things as normal for my babies as possible. This has not been a fun time for myself or them.
