Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) Tuition

Earlier this year I auditioned for Boston University's College of Fine Arts where I was given the opportunity to be accepted into their Young Artist Summer Program, Tanglewood Institute (BUTI). It is a six week long program in Lenox, MA designed to help young singers and instrumentalists be better musicians. Private voice lessons, recitals, and masterclasses are just the tip of the iceberg of what Tanglewood offers. Everything that you learn there are things that will stick with you for the rest of your career! However these programs come with a hefty price tag, especially ones of great stature like BUTI. I was fortunate enough to get a 2/3 scholarship from them, which left me to come up with $2500. Of my own limited funds, I was able to put down a $1000 deposit to secure my spot, but summer is coming fast and I won't be able to pay the remaining tuition. I must have the $1500 by the beginning of the program, July 1st. I am not particularly fond of asking friends and family members for financial help, but this time I could use it. BUTI is a huge step in the right direction for my future career and being able to attend would not only be an honor, but a privilege.  Anything that you can give will mean the world to me and go directly to the tuition.
