Help Jason and his family during this hard time

Hi, my name is Lauren and im creating this Gofundme for my boyfriend Jason Harp. I know he would never post asking for help but i know this is going to be a huge loss for him moving forward.

On May 20th, 2023 Jason was walking to get a Uhaul so we could pack up and leave for California. While he was walking he was wrongfully attacked. They had stated that he was taking pictures of their house but was really putting in his credit card info for our uhaul reservation. Three males and two females had attacked him breaking his shoulder, tried hitting him with their car twice, holding him down and punching him in the face while choking him out. He tried telling them what he was doing and that he couldnt breath and they told him he was "going out" and it could have easily led to something fatal if the neighbor hadnt called the cops . They had no idea if he had any medical problems that would have killed him with that many hits to the head. He was hit in the chest w an object the markings on his chest indicate the markings from a blunt force of a hammer and one of the females proceded to dig their nails into his chest while being held down by multiple people. He is going to need surgery and they are doing alot more tests to see what all is wrong. Jason denied pressing charges due to his moral beliefs but also cannot believe they put him through this. He is not asking for justice but just asking our friends and family for help through this while we work out all of the other details. He wishes for all parties to stay anonymous. Jason had NO BAD INTENTIONS for these people. He didnt feel that it was even going to lead to this if he had the chance to explain himself. Unfortunately they ignored his explanation.

We have two tattoo shops located in California and Montana. Jason is really the only artist at both locations so with him being out of work he is losing out on all currently scheduled appointments and future appointments that we needed in order to take care of our responsibilities. We have kids/babies, bills, medical bills, ambulance ride all while not being qualified for any assitance out of work and no insurance. There is a long road ahead for recovery. This is a major set back and appreciate any help and prayers to heal quickly. He is a great father, he has teenage children that are also financially in need of assistance by him and rely on him as well. If anyone knows Jason, you know he would take the shirt off his back or give his last dollar to anyone in need and trys to give back anyway he can.
