Jayden’s Drum Corps GoFund Me

My name is Jayden Zunker-Treviño, and I am currently a junior at Hendrickson High School located in Pflugerville, Texas. I have had the incredible honor to be a member of an amazing and one-of-a-kind band program at Hendrickson High School for the past three years of my life. My experiences as a marcher, musician, and leader in this program as a member in the top ensembles have taught me many lessons about myself as a person, the timeless and indescribable reward of working for the good of a respectable organization, and where the next step in my life will be in the realm of the performing arts, musicianship, and service.

For over the past seven years of my life, I have been certain about my ultimate goal of wanting to become a future music educator, and this past year, I looked desperately for a way to expand my horizons in the marching arts and my love for the activity. I came to the realization that if I am to grow as a music educator I need to seek greater opportunities for my life beyond what I can imagine, I had to take a leap of faith and find a path in the complex, rigorous, and what many describe as, the life-changing, world of Drum Corps International. Thankfully I have been offered a spot with Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corp.
