Please help my sister while she recovers

Hi, my name is Jess and I'm fundraising for my twin sister and best friend Jen as she recovers from having multiple strokes at 36 and recently lost health insurance due to employment change. I've never made a GoFund Me but I'm going to try to be as informative as possible.. So many people know my sister from BWW as the fun always smiling bartender who catered to everyone, and those friendships went far beyond work. However, since just before Christmas she was let go from her 12-year employment and began donating plasma regularly to help with money while just starting another job at Henry Hudson's. She was doing really well until January 7 she called our mother very confused and scared when she went for an appointment to donate and could not read or understand the consent form that she had read many times. Our parents took her to the hospital and after 2 cat scans, ultrasounds and an mri, they found that Jen had 4 strokes and has a blood clot on her brain. Jen has bills that need paid and she will not be able to work for 6-8 weeks while she has physical therapy and speech therapy. She doesn’t really understand what has happened and is going to need help. She will stay with me while she recovers and with your help hopefully she won’t lose everything she has worked so very hard for. Our parents are not wealthy and are limited on the financial help they can give. Anything you can donate will be so helpful.

update/ jen is doing so much better and going to speech therapy as well as dr appts weekly and has even been released to go back to work bc they think it will help her mental focus even more (she’s almost back to normal as far as conversations and a lot less confused so we believe she would do great) it’s just working on the memory. However her job has not responded to any messages so now she will be trying to find another job after all this therefore we’re trying to raise another months rent plus car payment etc. a lot of people have asked for details on how this affected her so I thought I would post a video to show exactly how she was during the hospital stay and I will do a recent video tomorrow when I see her for our appointments. Again, we appreciate any help she’s able to get-She’s sooo close to being back to normal and she’s just ready to get her life back❤️
