My name is Tracee Tromp. On 19 September 2018, my granddaughter Mika was abducted from Hong Kong to Thailand by the child's mother in breach of a court order.
The mother was ordered by courts in both Thailand and Hong Kong to return Mika to Hong Kong. Instead, the child's mother took Mika to Russia, in breach of another court order. The courts in Russia have ordered that Mika should be returned to Hong Kong, under the Hague Convention on Child Abduction.
I am now 75 years old. I have not seen Mika since Christmas 2018 when I flew to Phuket to be with her. I have not been able to speak to Mika since June 2019. My heart is breaking for this little girl who must think we have deserted her, and for my son who has had his beloved daughter taken away from him.
Please help us.
