Memorial Fund for Jeremy Mathus

Donation protected
As many have already heard, we lost our beloved Jeremy Mathus on Friday, January 6th. He is certainly being remembered for his big heart, his kindness towards others and his enormous love for his children and family. Jeremy was very passionate about his beliefs and he loved to make people laugh. He knew what it was like to struggle and endured more than his fair share of pain in his lifetime. And yet, he always had a supportive word to offer for a friend in need. His family included many extended and loyal friends over many years in both Ohio and his hometown.  As it has become clear, Jeremy’s ripples reached out beyond his family’s expectations and they wish to say thank you for your outpouring sympathy and love, they are beyond grateful and appreciative during this tragic time. After the services in Ohio, they will be planning a Celebration of Life in the very near future in his hometown of Louisville, KY.

Jeremy leaves behind the shining stars in his life, a loving and supportive fiancé, Brittany Brown, a daughter Chasadee, almost 3, and a son he was more than proud to have on the way, due in April. It is because of them that we are asking that in lieu of flowers to consider a small contribution to the unexpected burial expenses and after care costs left behind for this young, hardworking, grief stricken family. It’s a very big task to take on suddenly and any amount, big or small, would be a tremendous gift and help. But most importantly, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for peace and strength during this very difficult time. And be kind to one another, like Jeremy would want you each to do.

Thank you and God Bless!
The Family and Friends of Jeremy

The Ripples of Life
by David Vanderpool
The water was still, so calm and serene
but with simply a touch it was changed
And all things that rested so peaceful on top
the waves from my touch rearranged.
Just like those ripples that reached far away
from the little spot where they began
Only God knows all the lives we will touch
when we reach out to our fellow man.
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." -Galatians 6:2
