Jessica's Cancer Fund
Donation protected
My sister, Jessica, had been actively trying to get pregnant for 3 years with no success. She began to get ill and was diagnosed with severe anima. Her illness got worse and she was admitted to have a colonoscopy. The results showed a large mass in her colon. At 28 years old, we were shocked, it was colon cancer. The doctor stated she was only his second patient to have colon cancer in their 20's. She was admitted to have the mass removed, and stayed in the hospital for nine days due to complications. While in the hospital the doctor explained that the cancer had spread to Jess's lympnodes and advised she begin chemotherapy promptly. She began chemotherapy mid July after the port surgery, and has been actively recieving treatments every couple of weeks, and takes multiple chemo pill during the week. She is a wife, a mother to two children and works full time with a 2 hour commute each day. Her paid leave time at work has been exhausted from hospital stays, treatments, and sick days as a result of cancer and chemotherapy. The funds would go to relief support to Jessica's medical bills and supplement her income, while she's going through treatment. Her final treatment will be February of 2016. We are all looking forward to then and we are so thankful to anyone who donates funds and anyone we can share her story with.
