The World Has Lost a Beautiful Light.

Wednesday, February 8th, we tragically and unexpectedly lost Jessica Staszak Abitz, at the way-too-young age of 43. She was living life, laughing and soaking in the sun, on vacation in Florida with her loving family. Her beloved husband Mike, family, and friends are devastated. Jess was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and positive spirit. She was a dreamer with goals, a writer, a health advocate with a deliciously offbeat sense of humor, and just a wonderful, kind, spirited person.

Jess was passionate about her health, dedicating a tremendous amount of time to learning the smallest details to benefit herself and her loved ones. She was the brightness and most colorful light in any room evidenced by her words, laughter, and clothes of every color and pattern she could find.

Jess loved her family and friends. They know, and everyone who met them knows, Jessica deeply loved her husband Mike, and Mike deeply loved Jess. They have been together for almost 26 years. Theirs was a love and friendship full of laughter, that was unique and creative, and they did everything together. They had dreams and goals for their future. Her loss is earth-shattering.
