Jessie's Helicopter accident recovery fund

Thank you for visiting Jessica‘s GoFund Me page. This page was created by Jessica‘s friends to support her and her daughters during this difficult time.
As anyone who has ever met Jessica knows, she’s the most adventurous, accomplished and talented young woman– full of life and love for her time spent in the air. Whether it be a helicopter or an airplane, Jessica is most happy behind the controls of an aircraft. From first falling in love with aviation and learning to fly helicopters as a teenager to transitioning into small airplanes, obtaining her flight instructor license; allowing her to teach others how to fly in both helicopters and airplanes- to becoming a captain and flying all over the country in jets: Jessica is known for living life to the fullest- which is exactly what she was doing when a very unfortunate accident occurred.
On Saturday, November 20th, Jessica was doing what she does best: teaching the next generation of pilots. Her and her student were flying a helicopter, practicing maneuvers at a local airport. As they began to wrap up their flight lesson, the accident occurred. After the accident, her student was able to craw out of the mangled helicopter but Jessica required help from the paramedics as she had broken her leg and was unable to put any weight on it. She was taken to the hospital and was found to have suffered a concussion in addition to her broken leg. Due to her head injury, she has been forced to surrender her drivers license for the next 6 months. With her flight medical status now in question as well, she is unable to return to her full time flying position. She also will be unable to teach in the helicopters at her flight school.
We are hoping to raise money so that Jessica will have one less thing to worry about during this difficult time in her life. After recently becoming a single mother, now unable to work due to her injuries sustained from the accident, we want her to be able to put her focus towards her two beautiful daughters and getting better and back to flying. We are hoping to take the financial burden of medical bills and not being able to work off her shoulders, especially during the holiday season. Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read and please share this page with your friends and family.
