Funeral Expenses for Jimmie Green
Donation protected
Hello Family & Friends,
On Thursday October 22nd we lost a special love one, my big brother Joe Green. He started out as my brother in-law, but I dropped the in-law 30 years ago. So he was promoted to brother by his selfless acts of giving. Some knew him as Jimmie Green, but we called him Joe after his Uncle Joe. Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly from complications due to bladder surgery. His intestines was accidentally punctured causing bile to leak throughout his body which caused his organs to fail. He put up an amazing fight, but once his bowels died the damage was irreversible. So, we had to say our goodbyes and now were faced with the task of giving him a proper burial. That being said, I'd like to make a special appeal to family and friends to help with the unexpected funeral expenses.
Joe was this wonderful person who was a giver. When I was in high school every payday he'd gave me some money. So, of course I knew his pay schedule by heart, which is just one example of his kindness and thoughtfulness. He was one of the first real male role model to many in our family and the epitome of a real man. He overcame many struggles, but what I love most about Joe is his unwavering dedication to family. Real men provide for their family and that is what he did faithfully. He was a awesome provider!
He was a hard worker, a devoted sports fan who loved the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Bulls, and the Cubs and enjoyed watching all sports. Also, he still loved reading the local newspaper. He was dependable and a valuable member of our family who we called on for almost everything. We’re grateful for his life and our time together.
His children nicknamed him "Dooey" as he was the "Daddy that Do." He was a great provider, an awesome father and most of all best friend to his wife of 40+ years. He married my sister, but our entire family fell in love with him because he was a kindhearted person. His untimely death has left a whole in our hearts that we pray one day will heal. But now it's time for us to give him a proper burial and we're soliciting your help. If you can help with this special endeavor we'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you and keep our family in your prayers.
God Bless you & your Family!
