I'm Frederick Moore and along with my wife Laura, we have had the opportunity to work with troubled youth in such diverse places as Atlanta, Mobile, and Memphis.
We've always had wonderful people working alongside us in various roles, helping to make a difference. For years we could count on the continuing support of our great friends Stan and Joan Mosley, who provided countless hours of dedicated service and frequently made financial contributions to jumpstart a program or keep one going. Whatever was needed, they were there to help out.
Just recently, Joan Clark Mosley was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer. It is a rapidly spreading cancer and so she needs to react to it quickly. She and her doctors have discussed the various options and have agreed upon an aggressive plan of action and treatment. Joan is a fighter and is taking this battle heads-on.
However, after reviewing all of her health insurance parameters, she can see that this most effective treatment plan has a cost that will far exceed the limits of her health plan.
Many of you have fond memories of Joan from working with her, serving with her in community outreach programs, as a classmate or dorm mate, and singing or dancing for a cause or just for fun. She is the quintessential best girlfriend, favorite aunt, loving little sister and “girl next door” that we all know and love.
For years our friend – and sister – Joan Clark Mosley has been a beacon of hope to so many. Joan has dedicated her life to serving God by helping and serving others. She has worked tirelessly and endlessly in her pursuit of helping those individuals who are less fortunate. Now Joan needs our help to fight this battle. She is a fighter, but wisely knows when she can't do it all alone.
