Academic trip to China

Hello, my name is Jordan Bufford! I am currently a junior at the University of Mount Union in Ohio, studying Sport Business with a double minor in Business Administration and Chinese. I have been blessed with an opportunity to travel overseas to China spring semester in May of 2016 for college credit towards my Chinese minor.
The trip will be a two week adventure beginning May 8th and will be returning May 23rd. If I were to go on this trip I would have the opportunity of further learning a new language, meet new people and experience another side of the world along the way. I have always wanted to travel to China and now I have the opportunity to do so thanks to furthering my education in college. It has also always been a dream of mine to work for Nike's headquarters internationally, which is the main reason of my decision to minor in Chinese. Knowing my career interest, my professor has made it possible to tour Nike's Greater China Headquarters as well as introduce me to her connections working for Nike. I’m not exactly sure if this opportunity will guarantee a career with Nike but I’m sure it won’t hurt.
For those who know me, I have great family support and I wouldn't be where I am today without them. My family has already contributed to the trip, tuition and other living amenities. To pay for the full trip the cost is $3,200. I am asking for your help. Any contribution made will help cover airfare, meals, accommodations, travel expenses and possibly play a role in starting my career.
