Tragic Loss of a Life Too Soon, Juan Marquez.

Donation protected
Juan's family would like everyone to know..
Juan lived in Nashville, TN and worked long hours to be the provider for he and his wife's 6 kids, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He loved his family so much that he ultimately gave his life to protect his family when his killer was trying to gain entry into their home.

Juan fought hard to keep the shooter from gaining entry into his home to hurt his family, and was ultimately shot multiple times in the back. His grandchildren tried pulling him into the house by his feet to help protect him from any more harm. He died in the arms of those who loved him and needed him the most, his little babies and his wife. As his wife held him in her arms as he took his last breath, but not before shaking his head "yes" when she asked him if he loved them, and to fight because he was strong. Tragically he was shot in the head and died from the injuries he sustained. Juan was a loving, caring, gentle soul, and now he's our angel watching over us.

Juan was a very good man. All he wanted to do was be there for his wife that he adored and his stepkids and grandchildren that he loved very much. He worked hard and long hours to be the provider of his wife's 6 kids, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was the only father figure that all those kids knew. His grandchildren knew him as their grandfather, "Pa", that was there for them their whole lives. His grandchildren never had their fathers in their lives, and he knew that he made sure that he was there for those kids as their father figure. He loved those kids so much! He didn't have kids of his own and which he didn't mind because he had his family with his wife.

Juan was 15 years old when he left home in Mexico to come to America to work with the goal of saving money to build his parents a home back in Mexico. He created a family here in America and had all the kids that he always wanted to have, he loved those kids especially because he and his wife were all they had.

He never fought with anyone, he was the kindest person you would have ever met. He never said no to anyone and he always offered his help to anyone and everyone who needed it. He will be missed dearly. Juan loved to show his grandchildren how to work on the cars and work with tools, the kids loved to be with him every chance they could. They helped their grandfather and loved doing so. And now he's gone. He loved his family so much that he ultimately gave his life to protect his family and he will be missed beyond measure.

Donations will go to general support for the family.
