Denise Lapierres courageous battle

I’m reaching out to family and friends to please help my best friend. Denise was diagnosed in October with cancer for the third time. She has gone through 8 months of biopsies, scans, MRI’s, PET scans, blood testing and so much more. She has 2 masses in her throat and on her tonsils. She has spent countless days in physical pain but the emotional toll has been agonizing to watch. To have to see a strong woman feeling defeated, overwhelmed and scared is heart wrenching. Denise is a single Mom of two amazing sons Christian and Nicholas who are trying to cope with their Mommy fighting this disease. She as many know spent years fighting for her sons health after he was diagnosed with autism as a toddler. She is selfless, compassionate, hysterically funny and to see her loosing her faith is so hard on all of us who love her. This Tuesday Denise will be going in for surgery to remove the tumors. There will be multiple surgeons and it’s a complexed surgery do to her vocal cords. Her recovery and plan are unknown, however she will be out of work for quite awhile. She is humble and struggles with admitting she desperately needs help. Her family and I ask you to please help her and her children during this crisis. She’s always the first one to be there for others and now needs our support. No amount is too small, we want to see our beautiful Dee focus on fighting without worrying about the financial strain. I just want to see my best friend come through this with that smile and laughter she always brings to a room. To meet her is to fall in love with her, we need to all remind her of how incredibly loved she truly is!
