Grandma's Funeral Fund

Donation protected
The picture above was attached to our family's letter to the previous homeowners, telling them how excited we were to have the opportunity to move in together and to be next door neighbors to my brother's family.

On Sunday, August 2nd 2020, my grandma had an unexpected stroke, during my family's big move from San Francisco to Concord. We were supposed to have a fresh start amidst the crazy year 2020 has been, but it was the complete opposite. On the way to our new home, my grandma, was feeling light-headed and nauseous. My first instinct was that she was car sick per usual. A few short hours later in the ER, the doctor said, she had a stroke - a half fist size bleeding in her cerebellum and then it grew and grew. Then, another few short hours later the call came in that she's not going to make it.

And just like that, we went from setting up her new room and planning her next playdate with her friends to planning her funeral under 24 hours.

With this GoFundMe, my siblings and I hope to raise anything we can to help support the cost of the funeral and burial for my grandmother. With my dad's minimum wage job and my mother's unemployment in the midst of Covid, we'd appreciate any help from our network.

Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance from my whole entire family and please hug your loved ones, because you just never know.

Love,
The Junaedy Family
