Sheena-Marie Dubois died in 2018 on Nov 3rd (according to her autopsy), but the Winnipeg Police found her on Nov 6th of that year. Sheena was in her fifth year of university to become a doctor of medicine. Her dream was to go into Northern Reservations in Canada and help the indigenous people's who are in need of proper health care. Sheena was also an advocate of the murdered and missing indigenous women only to become a statistic herself. I, Christine, her only sibling suffered a major loss and went through a severe bout of depression following her "suspicious death" as the WPS deemed it to be, I guess just wanting to sweep another of our indigenous beauties under the rug.

We have to continue to be Sheena's voice, because without us, she has no one to help solve her murder or in the least lay her properly to rest. The reason I am fundraising is to buy her a headstone (she lays in an unmarked grave at the moment), get memorial sweaters done up and to pay off her funeral bill. I am asking anyone who reads this to find it in their generous hearts and to get me one step closer to buying her that headstone. Sheena did not deserve what I could only imagine she went through. Sheena had cuts, scrapes, contusions, bruises all over her body and her fingers were purple up to her knuckles in what I believe she died trying to fight for her life. I as of May 19, 2024 finally read the last few pages of her autopsy report, only to find that Sheena-Marie died of asphyxiation (strangulation), I burst into tears as I finished reading it. The murderer as of over five years now is still out there, preying and hunting his/her next victim. Sheena my dear baby girl, I'm so sorry I was not there to protect you, if I could change anything, it would be that I was there that day to help you. I regret not being more involved in your life.
