Due to the unexpected situation that occurred with my seven-year-old and 12 year-old on last Sunday. My children and I have experienced hardship having to leave from our home unexpectedly due to our front door being kicked in and my 12 year old child being physically assaulted by adults. I would like to thank the community that has been supporting me & my children and contacting me on a consistent basis asking if there is anything that they can do to help! At first I did not think it was best to ask the community for any gifts however, after realizing the totality of this event, myself & my children are now seeking to find different housing…. This was not anything that I had expected to do anytime soon as myself and my children have lived in this home without a reason to relocate until this tragic incident occurred now after speaking with my family and my support system, I believe that it is in our best interest to relocate as well as get my children some help so that they are able to speak to someone that is professionally trained to sort out their fears and their feelings from this event. At this point again I just want to thank everyone who has been very supportive and kind to my family and I’m praying for those that have not been kind. I realize now that it takes a village to reach children and if anyone at this point is still willing to sow a seed to help me prepare for better housing and to seek a therapist for my children as well as myself so that we are able to sort out our feelings to try and move on past this traumatic experience. Once again, I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words and support thanks‼️
