Harry O’Shea

With the blessing of Harry’s family and friends, the motorcycling community has united to honour Harry and support his family. We aim to gather funds for flowers, funeral expenses, or a charity chosen by Harry’s family.

Harry tragically passed away on the evening of Thursday, June 20th, while riding over the Wicklow Gap. Despite the heroic efforts from Joe Bergin, the mountain rescue team including Ronan, Philip, and Jason the AP, along with Mervyn, the fire brigade crew, the guards, and others at the scene, Harry sadly did not survive.

Those who knew Harry will remember him as a true gentleman, always ready to lend a hand and warm the hearts of those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

In Harry's honour , I will be organising a brief motorcycle escort from Flanagans Dundrum to Holy Cross Church in Dundrum Village on Wednesday at 11am for an 11:30am service. The meeting point will be McDonald's at Nutgrove Shopping Centre at 10am on Wednesday, June 26th. Hope to see a good gathering there
