12/08/24: Last night was good! Been off sedation since 2pm yesterday. Had a rough morning with high heart tate, high respiratory rate, little fever, alot of coughing and vomiting. They changed his trach to a smaller size, they removed his internal catheter and put an external catheter on him, and have held his feeds today. They did a breathing trial for a couple hours and he absolutely killed it!! They stopped antibiotics because showed nothing so fever is neurogenic. All in all a good day.

12/07/24: God is hearing us!!
He’s doing great! They’ve got his sedation medication turned off and it has been off since about 2 o’clock this afternoon (12/7). He’s moving around a lot. Fever has been better. He still has a fever but it’s not very high. They’re going to try to start breathing trials tomorrow (12/8).

12/05/24: MRI results show reversed thoughts from CT showing strokes, no strokes! Also showed very, very minimal deep tissue damage and no brain stem damage!! He opened his eyes and looked at dad today too!!

12/01/24: Kamden has been "boring" and that's a great thing! He had a very calm day, for the most part and needs prayers he continues to stay boring through Monday. They're hoping to remove the bolt from his head and do an MRI on Monday. More updates to come.

11/29/24: Glorious Day!! Yesterday was a really bad day. Last night he seem to settle down quite a lot. They finally got his fever broke because it got really high. They had to pack him and ice to get it to come down. Since then he's been doing great. All of his numbers looked really good today so far. They put a PICC line in for his IV access just a little bit ago. They successfully ready to come in and we're able to do the tracheostomy and put in the peg tube. When they stimulated him this morning, he actually opened his right eye a little bit and he's been moving a little bit more today. So I'm very encouraged today. We're waiting to get the bolt out of his head so we can do an MRI to see if there is any brainstem involvement. Keep praying!!

11/28/24: Had a very rough night last night 11/27: high blood pressure, seizures, fever then hyperthermia. Today high blood pressure, high brain pressure, did new Xray to track current fever source. Will be doing trach, PEG (stomach feed tube) and PICC line tomorrow.

11/26/24: Still in medical coma, reacting to pain stimuli in arms. Has fractures in both hands as well.

11/25/24: Kamden Davidson, 16, Lebanon, was on a bicycle and struck by a car. He required emergency brain surgery. He is not out of the woods yet, unsure when he will wake up. Family could use gas cards, food assistance and of course medical assistance as needed. They want to make sure someone is always at the hospital with him.
