Help Karen Crush Cancer

Since 2002, Karen has been caring for others, serving 13 years as a pediatric nurse and now working to help veterans with chronic pain. In April of this year, the course of her life drastically shifted with a diagnosis of ovarian cancer, complicated by additional genetic factors that will need to be monitored beyond the course of her treatments. After three surgeries, diagnostic procedures and ongoing chemotherapy, the nurse has now become the patient and she needs our help.

Karen is single and unable to work full time during chemo. This fund is being set up to assist her with both mounting medical bills and living expenses including mortgage, food, and utilities, so that she may spend her energy healing and crushing this cancer. Her courage and unyielding optimism have continued to be an inspiration to all who know her.
