Kathy's Medical Fund

Kathy Small has been my second mother.  She's always ready to lend an ear with a fresh pot of coffee on.  She's always there for anyone in need and has rescued more of my plants than I can count!

She's the glue that holds her family together and has been the only daycare provider her adorable granddaughter, Mia, has ever known. Now, she needs our help.

In April, 2016, Kathy was diagnosed with breast cancer- the last words any woman wants to hear. Although the diagnosis has shaken her family to its core, we know Kathy is amazingly strong and will fight this disease with all that she's got. 

We're just asking for a little bit of help.  Kathy is just starting her journey and she's in the middle of a mastectomy, double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation blur.  Her mastectomy is scheduled for May 19th, 2016 and chemotherapy and radiation will follow.  With these treatments, her family is anticipating some outlying medical costs not covered by her insurance and travel expenses associated with getting back and forth to treatment.
