The Katie Adams Cancer Fund

Katie Adams, 7 years old, was diagnosed on September 20, 2015 with a Stage 4 wilms tumor in her left kidney at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL.  Presently, she will undergo chemotheraphy for 6 weeks, surgery to remove the tumor and left kidney, then 25 weeks of chemotheraphy and radiation post surgery; unless the doctors change the protocol based on the biopsy of the tumor once removed. Tentatively, surgery is set for Friday, November 6, 2015.

We have had so many outpourings of support in many unique ways and numerous requests where to send donations. We understand people want to help and support Katie in various ways and we certainly do not "want to take your blessings away" as one sweet friend explained it to us. For that reason, we decided to create this avenue of support. Any financial support will be solely used for all of Katie's medical related expenses.

We can not express in words sufficiently how much every single PRAYER, act of kindness, thoughts, help, support, and encouragement means to Katie and us, her parents.
