Katie Goodwin Bereavment Fund

It is with great sadness and heaviest of heart to announce the tragic loss of Jesse Goodwin.  On the evening of Tuesday May 17, 2016 Jesse was involved in an airplane crash shortly after taking off from Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ.   Jesse was a friend to many, loved by all who knew him, and the most amazing husband, best friend and the absolute love of Katie's life.  Jesse had returned home from his work assignment Monday evening, and Katie retuned home on Tuesday morning after attending her sister’s college graduation.  They spent the day enjoying each other’s company and sharing conversation, enjoying how much they loved each other and how happy they were with the life they had built together.  They loved how well each one completed the other.   Jesse's last day was spent doing what he truly enjoyed, spending time with Katie and piloting a WWII airplane.  This request is to assist in providing for processing final expenses, and celebrating Jesse's life at a memorial service with his wife, family and friends.  Additionally it will be used for establishing a memorial fund at the CAF (Commemorative Air Force), where he will be remembered for his spirit, camaraderie and passion of flying.
