Katy's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello,
Meet my energetic, happy, vibrant daughter, Katy, 29, and her sweet little 4 year old son, Hugh!
Katy has just been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) Breast Cancer - Stage 3, Grade 3 (3C). There are three tumors in one breast and the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. Our doctor told us this cancer is angry and aggressive and will require a treatment plan that includes chemotherapy for a year, radiation and at least two surgeries in between. She has a real battle on her hands. She had a CT/PET scan yesterday, December 19, and we will have the results from that next week to determine if it has spread elsewhere. If it has spread, her stage will change from 3 to 4 and the treatment plan may also change. We are praying it stays Stage 3 Grade 3!
Katy is a vibrant, positive, active woman and awesome mother to Hugh, who just adores his mommy. Prior to the diagnosis, Katy was an eBay seller and looking for part-time work to supplement her income. She is not going to be able to keep up with her eBay selling or find part-time work while she goes through treatment and takes care of her son. However, we are going to join forces and get a house that is large enough for all of us so I can help take care of Katy and Hugh, and take care of getting her to and from appointments.

This is where you get a chance to help! I am setting up this charity for my daughter in the hopes of alleviating some of the financial burdens that are sure to come. As I am sure you know, her emotional, mental and spiritual health are just as important as her physical health in order to fight this dreaded disease. We hope to take away as many outside stressors and worries that we can. We want her to focus focus focus on beating this thing!
She is a fighter and determined to fight this nasty disease with every ounce of her being and with the good Lord's help, her awesome Medical Team and yours, she's going to do just that!
I thank you for taking the time to read Katy's story and we welcome support from all who offer. Please join us in Katy's Fight! Please also ask your friends and family to help if they can.
God Bless you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
