KB Nelson & Natalie Catania Nelson

Hi. I started this fundraiser to help my friend, Natalie, and her husband, Kb. Kb has recently been diagnosed with heart failure.  He has had stents implanted, but he is going to need bypass surgery. If the bypass surgery does not work, Kb will need a heart transplant. Due to his heart problems and other health issues, Kb has been unable to work recently. This has created a major strain on the family's finanaces since Kb was the main breadwinner and health insurance had been provided through his job. Natalie is an artist and homeschools their two children through online public school. Their son Maxwell is autistic and does better in the homeschool environment than in public school classroom setting. The family is currently living off of savings (that will run out shortly) and the income from sale of Natalie's artwork. My hope is that we can raise enough money with this campaign to keep the family afloat until Kb's health is stabilized.
