Sam Kee's "Get Well" Fund

Hello, most of you know me, and probably have, since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. My name is Shannon Kee Haymond, and I'm Sam's only daughter.

My Dad was first admitted to the hospital on March 3, in extremely poor condition, with double Pnemonia. He had been laying in bed for days with no food, and severely dehydrated. I was trying to get in touch with him for at least 5 or 6 days, with no response. I was about to call 911 to do a wellness check on him, and he FINALLY answered the phone from my mother, who lives across town. I live just outside of San Antonio, so I couldn't just pop over.

My Stepdad, Bob and my Brother Patrick got my Dad to the hospital the next morning where he was admitted in almost critical condition.

While being in the hospital, they discovered that his heart is barely functioning, and ALL valves are almost completely calcified, with the main valve, completely shut. He will be having Open Heart Surgery/Triple Bypass/With Valve Replacements this coming Wednesday.

As you can imagine, he's going to need a lot of care, and there are MANY repairs that need to be done to his home before it's even safe for him to go back to his home after surgery.
