Thank you all for your prayers, donations, and support as I get ready to run for Miss New York USA! I am beyond excited as I embark on this adventure, preparing myself in mind, body, and heart.
When I was a young girl, there was nothing more valuable to me than having beautiful, powerful women as role models to encourage and help me grow into the best possible ME I could be! I was incredibly blessed to have many of them - leaders who stood by me, pulled greatness out of me, and pushed me farther than I imagined, because they saw the potential inside of me.
To have such a platform as Miss New York 2017 to be the same type of role model I had when I was young, would be a dream come true. My heart is to set an example for young women, showing them that their purest desires are worth pursuing, and their heart is their greatest treasure! I want to lead the next generation into being their most authentic selves, strengthened in the knowledge of their value, and able to love themselves well.
As Miss New York 2017, I would be representing my state for many events and community outreaches, grand openings, and parades. I would be working with charitable organizations, and would go forth to represent New York at the prestigious Miss USA Pageant. I would steward my reigning year to teach kindness, encourage authenticity, and inspire people to love one another. This is the year that things are turning around in our world for the better. I want to make an impact on the next wave of world impactors!
Thank you for believing in me. I must raise a sponsorship total of $1495 to participate in the competition. My goal is to raise beyond the participation fee to $1695 to pay for my dress, and other preparatory tasks.
