Kendall’s journey after traumatic brain injury
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of October 29th, Kendall Ford was in a serious car accident where he was ejected from the vehicle and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. For 3 weeks Kendall was in a medically induced coma to stop the swelling and bleeding of the brain. He’s had multiple surgeries including a craniotomy. He eventually emerged from the coma into a vegetative state and is now in what is considered a minimally conscious state or persistent disorder of consciousness. If you know this young man, you know that he is outgoing, talkative, full of life and passionate about his children. He is hard-working and has been at his job for many years. Unfortunately, whatever disability pay he may get will not cover the medical equipment needed as well as the massive hospital and rehabilitation bills that are mounting and will continue to mount with the long road to recovery he has in front of him.
This tragedy has turned life upside down for his parents Tanya and Anthony. Tanya has been by his side everyday and night since this accident. She has been battling cancer since 2022 and is on the road to recovery. She is now dedicated to caring and advocating for her son. Him knowing that she is by his side every day is priceless and increases his chance of survival.
Right now, Kendall and Tanya need our support.
We know that these are difficult times for many – please know that any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate at this time, it is also meaningful to share this campaign with others who may be interested. We also ask for your prayers at this time.
Please note: We understand that this news is very difficult and will likely come as a shock to those of you who know Kendall and Tanya. Tanya and Anthony have guided and approved what we have shared in this campaign, and we will post updates as directed by them. We ask that you not reach out with questions about Kendall’s progress at this time, as her and Anthony are overwhelmed as they prepare for Kendall’s next phase of care. You are welcome to share messages of love and support here.
