This is Charlotte, raising money to cover Kevin’s medical expenses & general life while unable to work.

Any of us freelancers who have gone for long periods of time working at non-union jobs—or with no job at all—have a frighteningly clear idea of what it’s like to get sick with no insurance coverage. Bad enough when you have bronchitis or a sprained wrist—terrifying if you have cancer.

I raised our goal to $35,000 but anybody who’s ever been in the hospital knows it costs at least ten times more than that.*

* Maybe Kev can just default on the medical bills & use our money to live on (‘cause he’s gonna live!!!) until he’s able to get back to work.
