Kimo Strong: Supporting Kimo and his family through cancer

Donation protected
Hi. My name is Ramie and I am reaching out and creating what I hope grows into an almighty prayer and support system for my incredible brother in law, Kimo, and baby sister, Riley. Not many people have been made aware, but I think it's important to spread the word and awareness so we can begin to help them with the long road ahead. One week ago at only 29 years old, Kimo received unimaginable news that no one ever wants to hear, especially for a young, happy, healthy, husband and father of 3 young beautiful children, you have cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. While this news would have stopped anyone else in their tracks, in true Kimo fashion, he said the show must go on and tended to his (phenomenal) catering business and loyal friends and family before heading to the hospital, where he has remained since Friday. (Tell me you put others before yourself, without telling me you put others before yourself) His faith is strong, and his love for his family and friends is even stronger. He married my sister in 2019 and has been family (probably our favorite family member) since. He is the kindest, most generous, hardest working, father, husband, son, and brother and my family is so blessed to have him a part of our lives. He is still always asking how everyone is doing, while he is in the hospital fighting. He is still always asking what he can do for us, while he is in the hospital fighting. He has always been there for all of us, and now it is our turn to be there for him.

While we find ourselves asking "why", Kimo is asking "why not". This is Kimo in a nutshell, a pure hearted, positive, God fearing man. After all, God DOES give his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, and I don't know a stronger soldier than Kimo. He will fight hard and come out undefeated (unlike his beloved Raiders) with an amazing testimony to share and inspire others. I know he has already done so much for me and my children and is one of the reasons I attend church every Sunday with my 4 kids, so I can only imagine the number of people he will reach when he comes home and leads even more people to seek the Lord.

In this difficult time I am hopeful that we can support them any way we can. He will remain in the hospital for the next month+ receiving an aggressive chemotherapy treatment, leaving my sister to care for 3 little ones. She will be taking time off work as a kindergarten teacher to take care of the kids while trying to keep their lives as normal as possible, and trying to remain by Kimo's side. I am asking for anyone that is able, to help in any way you can. Be it a prayer or a donation. All proceeds go directly to Kimo and Riley and their family. Anything will help through this difficult journey. Let's rally around Kimo and show him how unwavering our love and support is for him. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
