We are the Voyage Home Riverside History Center.
We are a small town in Iowa with the claim to fame as the Future Birth Place of Captain James T. Kirk of the Star Trek TV and movie series. We are raising money for a life size bronze statue of Captain Kirk. Any money raised will be used for the statue and construction of its placement site. Our goal is for completion this year of 2016.
This would help add to our towns tourism and help promote the community by adding another feature to the already existing attractions that we have through out our small town.
We would be very exited if this goes well and many people would enjoy this when they come to our towns celebration and when they just come to visit during the year. We are hoping to add more statues of the crew in the future,
