Koetz Family Fire Recovery Fund

Thanksgiving Day 2014 will be a painful day forever etched in the minds of the Koetz family of Lockport.   Upon returning to their Lockport apartment, they discovered the apartment had been severely damaged by fire, smoke, and water damage.  The heartbreak of losing their belongings was only made worse to know their three cats; Misty, Shadow, and Sapphire were killed in the fire. 

They have been fortunate to have family that could take them in, so they have a roof over their head.  They are devastated emotionally and financially.   On Saturday they were allowed to return to the apartment and were able to salvage a few items, but they have so much they will need to replace.

Trevan and Betsy are trying to help their beautiful children, Katy (13) and Joey (11) cope with their loss.  They are trying to be strong and pull up their bootstraps and start over again; but, the fact is they need help.
