Kristen Keenan's Breast Cancer Battle
Kristen's boobs need your support!
In July 2021, Kristen Keenan's life forever changed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She wasted no time and started seeing an oncologist at Roswell. After some additional testing, it was determined that her breast cancer had spread to her liver and bones, making it stage IV (aka metastatic breast cancer).
Kristen started chemo infusions in August 2021; her chemo will continue for approximately six months, but she will continue to receive targeted therapy infusions for the rest of her life.
Being immunocompromised, Kristen had to forever give up her passion of teaching after spending 19 years in the education system. She won't begin receiving disability payments for six months, and she is prohibited from working. Additionally, her daughter is currently in college and her son will begin college next year.
We want her to focus on the battle she has ahead of her and fight like the warrior we know her to be. We would love to support her by helping out with some medical bills, travel expenses, living expenses, meals, and the financial burden of lost wages.
