WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT!
As the likelihood of any races or events occurring in the forceable future has declined significantly I have decided to make my own! I won’t be racing anyone else just a clock ticking away to the current Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) World Record!
In order to make this World Record attempt viable we need a bit of help with sponsorship. The funds raised will cover the following: two motor homes, tracking devices, data recording devices (watches, GPS & cameras), nutrition, hydration, petrol, crew logistics, kit, physiotherapy, maps, training, route recces and a celebratory dinner!
The plan is to get from Lands End to John O’Groats in under 12 days, 11 hours, 6 minutes and 7 seconds, the current World Record. This is a huge task and will see me running over 70 miles per day for 12 days. I have the best team possible to help me achieve this and I am super excited to give it my all and push my mind and body further than it has ever gone before.
I will be wearing a tracker for the duration of the record so you can see us move slowly up the country as the challenge gets underway. The link will be shared just before the challenge begins.
Distance: 874 miles - this equates to over 75 miles per day!
Duration: Less than 12 days, 11 hours, 6 minutes and 7 seconds
Start Date: 16 July 2020 *

Everyone that donates will get listed as a supported on my website!
* Provided it is safe to do so and within the COVID-19 restrictions
