Laurens Building Trust Int. Support
The world of design & architecture far surpasses that of creative enrichment & aesthetic enhancement. Our environment, both visual and structural, defines us. Design utilizes a special universal language. This language has an innate power to have tremendous impact on societal structure, function, and transformation.
This concept is the driving force behind my ongoing passion to apply design and architecture to help facilitate social change. This January, I have received the opportunity to become involved with an organization that lives and breathes this belief; Building Trust International .
However, I NEED YOUR HELP!! I will be traveling to Laos to dedicate my time and abilities in providing work opportunities for local Laotians, and will help design and build a new facility that will aide in fund raising for endangered Asiatic Black Bears.
ALL donations will go directly to funding my time and involvement with Building Trust International. Any donations exceeding the necessary expenses will go to Building Trust International directly.
I cannot begin to tell you how important projects like this are, and the beneficial impact this will have on the people, the wildlife, and the planet as a whole. Additionally, I cannot begin to express my unmitigated appreciation for any contribution; a little truly does go a long way.
Forever Grateful,
Lauren R Betts

Building Trust International has shown that design has value far beyond the bricks & mortar of any one building. Their core aim is to provide design & architectural assistance to communities, local charities, key individuals & companies delivering sustainable solutions to buildings & infrastructure. They create new responses to poverty, war, ill health or conservation through design solutions, establish long-lasting sustainable architectural projects for communities in need, work with the local communities to ensure projects are owned by the people they support, & ensure that have a positive social impact.
