The Ludlow Skatepark Project
Donation protected
For the past 25 years, the Skatepark at Dorsey Park has been a staple of the Ludlow experience, offering a safe and healthy place for locals and visitors alike to gather, push themselves, and have a great time together. The Skatepark is one of the most visited sites in Ludlow, and it is now in need of some upgrades. Dorsey Park is one of the most visited sites in Ludlow, and our goals for the skate park are ambitious: the town of Ludlow is contributing $34,900 in support, and we are seeking to raise an additional $35,000 in private donationsto resurface the “street course” at the skate park. This project will include site excavation, a drainage system, and new concrete, all of which will make the park safer, more fun and challenging, and more environmentally friendly. Every dollar counts, and our goal is to raise the funds by Spring 2022! No matter if you’re a Ludlow native or visitor, no matter if your last visit to Dorsey was yesterday or years ago…. you are part of this community and we need your help to make sure that the skate park continues to be a destination and resource in Ludlow for the next 25 years.
