G. T.E.A.M. FabSLAM STEM Trip to DC
Donation protected
In efforts to try to make a positive change in our community using three-dimensional fabrication, we formed G. T.E.A.M., composed of Gavin Horne, Tylar Hedrick, Ethan Wolf-Stelzner, Micah Ereckson and Autumn Morgan, five eighth-graders from Lone Star Middle School in Nampa Idaho.
With this team, we entered the FabSLAM 3D fabrication challenge sponsored by the STEM Action Center and the Digital Harbor Foundation. We won this competition with our homeless shelter design H.E.L.P., also known as Homeless Emergency Life Pack, pictured below.

You can learn all about our team and our product as well as how it has evolved, here, on our website.
You can also check out news coverage of the Idaho FabSLAM event and see their footage of our product and others by the Idaho Statesman, KBOI, and the Idaho Press-Tribune.
That brings us up to where we are today. After winning the FabSLAM competition, we were given the oppurtunity to travel to Washington DC to share our design at the National Maker Faire in June.
Going on this once-in-a-lifetime trip, however, is very costly. Money raised here will help to pay for hotel costs during our three-night stay, food expenditures, plane tickets and other miscellaneous expenses.
We appreciate any money you can donate, no matter how little, and are thrilled to be able to represent Nampa and Idaho on a national level.
