Laney "Laneybug" Hays

On November 29th, Laney “Laneybug” Hays, daughter of our Twin Cities Ameriprise advisor Andrew Hays (Nicole) and Granddaughter of Twin Cities Ameriprise advisor Brad Turgeon (Barb), lay in her Mother Nicole’s arms, holding her Dad Andrew’s hand and surrounded by her siblings and family, and took her last breath.

Laney would turn 4 next month.  Sadly, on February 5, 2015, when Laneybug was 2, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Laney fought a hard and courageous battle over the past 22 months.  She fought with all her might and filled her family’s lives with love and joy.  Her funeral was this past Saturday, December 3rd. 

As a result of many advisors reaching out to me wondering how they can help, the local Twin Cities Ameriprise family has set up this “Go Fund Me” page, without the family’s knowledge, due to the large medical and funeral costs. In an effort to relieve some of their stress and financial burden during this holiday season, please consider making a donation and the spread the word.
