Lauren Knisely Education Fund

Hello, my name is attorney Lane M. Turturice. I am a lifelong friend of the Knisely family having known Jan Knisely since we first met in Boy Scouts many years ago. In an effort to honor the legacy of Jan Knisely, I cannot think of a better way to honor his memory than to assist in providing a quality education for his daughter, Lauren E. Knisely, age 12 who survives. So many people have expressed a desire to contribute in Jan's memory, so we have established this fund to honor Jan.

This fund is governed by a Trust that is a fully functioning legal irrevocable trust, which is overseen by a set of Trustees comprised of various family members and a Trust Protector, who is a third-party professional that has no family relationship with the Knisely family. The Trust is irrevocable, which means that the creators of the Trust cannot change the purpose or use of the Trust once it is established. The Trust and the Trustees will be required to comply with all IRS regulations and other legal obligations. Donations to this fund will be used strictly for the educational needs of Lauren E. Knisely.
